Cipher/decipher

I like to play with symbols, numbers, marks, words, or patterns by creating a context that doesn’t fit the usual. There are fragments that might be schematics, diagrams, explanations…visual ghosts of meaning. I’ve added the element of a metal background with carriage bolts on the corners for most of the pieces in this series—I like the reference to industrial construction and the sense that there are disparate bits of flotsam that have floated together on a surface in a work environment.
